Accessibility Statement

CourseTrack is operated by Midpoint Software Group ("we," "us"). We want CourseTrack to work well for every student, including students who use assistive technology. This statement describes what we've built and where we still have work to do.

The short version: We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and Apple's accessibility guidelines on iOS. If something doesn't work with your assistive technology, tell us — we treat accessibility issues as bugs, not feature requests.

Standards we target

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the CourseTrack website, and to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines for accessibility in the CourseTrack iOS app.

What we've built

Dynamic Type support — text scales with your preferred iOS font size setting.
VoiceOver support — interactive controls and screens are labeled for screen reader use.
Sufficient color contrast — text and UI elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios.
Touch target sizing — controls meet Apple's minimum 44×44 pt touch target guideline.
Semantic structure — headings and content follow a logical order for screen readers.
Reduced Motion support — animations respect the system Reduce Motion setting.
No timed interactions — nothing in CourseTrack requires a response within a time limit.

Known limitations

We're not done. Some areas still need work:

Some charts and data visualizations don't yet have full text alternatives.
PDF exports may not be fully readable by screen readers and can require remediation.

We are actively working through these in upcoming releases.

Compatibility

The CourseTrack app is designed for iOS 15.1 and later. We recommend using the most recent version of iOS for the best experience with assistive technology. Supported iOS accessibility features include VoiceOver, Switch Control, AssistiveTouch, Display Accommodations, and Dynamic Type.
